Dr. Ash Khodabakhsh

Dr. Ash specializes in a wide range of traditional and state-of-the-art holistic treatments at his wellness center — including chiropractic care, cryotherapy, cold laser therapy, compression therapy, decompression therapy, cupping, infrared light therapy, ultrasound, sports medicine, personal training, Graston muscle scraping, electric muscle stimulation, and massage.

Because everyone’s body is unique, Dr. Ash and his team develop customized treatment plans for each patient. He strives to find the cause of injury and pain, which often originates from the spine. Realignment of the spine reduces inflammation, relieves pain, and aids in a quicker recovery.

Los Angeles’ #1 Chiropractor for 11 Consecutive Years

His education and more than 10 years of pain management experience make Dr. Ash an expert in treating back pain, neck pain, mid back pain, knee pain, herniated discs, bulging discs, sciatica, TMJ, jaw pain, headaches, migraines, GERD, acid reflux, arthritis, sports injuries, sprains, strains, muscle tightness, and other conditions causing chronic or acute pain. With his holistic approach to chiropractic care, Dr. Ash addresses not only each patient’s immediate pain and discomfort, but also offers tools to help prevent pain from returning. Dr. Ash does not simply address injuries; rather, he skillfully coordinates a symphony of healing meticulously designed for individuals who have undergone the challenging aftermath of a car accident. His specialized proficiency serves as a comprehensive roadmap, skillfully guiding individuals from the disarray of post-accident situations to a state of revitalization.

Dr. Ash’s goal is to help patients feel better than they ever have and are on a path to the pain-free life they deserve. His success at achieving this goal is why The Chiro Guy has ranked as the #1 chiropractic office in Los Angeles for the last nine years!

More Than Just an Adjustment: A Holistic Approach to Recovery

One of the most common misconceptions about chiropractic care is that it’s just a quick "crack" and you're out the door. In my practice, we do things differently. I believe that true healing requires more than a five-minute appointment; it requires understanding the "why" behind your pain.
Every session in my office lasts between 45 and 60 minutes. During that time, we don't just treat the symptoms—we investigate the root cause. We take a deep dive into your daily habits, analyzing everything from your workout form and sleep positions to your desk ergonomics.
By combining sports medicine, physical therapy, and chiropractic care, we provide a comprehensive treatment plan tailored to you. You’ll leave with specific stretches and corrective exercises designed to prevent future injuries. Our goal isn’t to provide a temporary "band-aid" fix; we are committed to delivering fast, functional, and permanent results.

In an industry often criticized for "five-minute adjustments" and revolving-door patient care, Dr. Ash is an outlier. Since 2008, he has built a reputation not for how many patients he can see in an hour, but for how much he can accomplish with just one.
As the founder of The Chiro Guy on Rodeo Drive and Winer Chiropractic in Canoga Park, Dr. Ash has been ranked the #1 chiropractor in Los Angeles and Beverly Hills every year since 2014. His success isn't just due to his prestigious locations, but his rejection of the "band-aid" philosophy.

“My passion has always been to heal patients correctly and for the long term,” says Dr. Ash. “I want to understand the routine that led to the injury. If we don’t modify how you sit, sleep, or work out, we’re just kicking the can down the road.”

A typical session with Dr. Ash lasts between 45 and 60 minutes—a rarity in modern practice. This time allows him to merge high-end technology with a sophisticated blend of sports medicine, physical therapy, and chiropractic adjustments. The goal is simple: get the patient better faster than anyone else can. By focusing on permanent recovery rather than repetitive billing, Dr. Ash has restored the most important element in healthcare: trust.

What is your story, and what makes your approach unique?

"My philosophy was actually born out of frustration. As a kid, I dreaded the doctor’s office. I remember having a 1:00 PM appointment and not being seen until nearly 2:00 PM. The waiting was exhausting, but the worst part was the appointment itself—it only lasted minutes. I never felt heard; I was just handed a prescription and told to move on.

I made a vow then that if I ever became a doctor, I would do the exact opposite. I would respect my patients' time.

That is why since 2008, I have never double-booked and I never keep people waiting. At my practices—The Chiro Guy on Rodeo Drive and Winer Chiropractic in Canoga Park—the schedule is sacred. But beyond the clock, it’s about the connection. Being the #1 top-rated chiropractor in LA and Beverly Hills since 2014 isn't just about the 'crack'; it’s about the 45 to 60 minutes I spend with every patient. We don’t mask symptoms with 'band-aid' fixes. We dive into your workouts, your sleep habits, and your daily movements to find the root cause. I’m here to get you well faster than anyone else, with a permanent solution—not to string you along."

You’ve achieved incredible success as a top-rated doctor, but what did suffering teach you that success never could?

"Success is a great motivator, but suffering is the greater teacher. It taught me the most sobering and empowering lesson of my life: no one is coming to save you.

Early on, I realized that if I didn't step up, embrace the hardships, and figure things out for myself, I would never reach my goals. Success can sometimes make you feel entitled, but suffering reminds you that you are the only one who can truly accomplish what you set out to do. You have to go through the fire to get to where you want to be.

This is exactly why I’m so protective of my patients’ recovery. I know what it’s like to feel like the odds are against you. It’s also why I don't believe in shortcuts or 'band-aid' fixes. When you’ve worked that hard to overcome a challenge, the victory feels significantly better because you know you earned it. I bring that same 'defy the odds' energy into my clinics every day—whether I’m at The Chiro Guy or Winer Chiropractic—because my patients deserve a doctor who understands that the hardest paths often lead to the best results."

What is a cultural value you protect at all costs, and how does it influence your work?

"The value I protect at all costs is the tradition of treating every guest as if they were family. In Persian culture, hospitality is sacred. When a guest enters your home, they receive the utmost respect and care; you treat their needs as if they were your own.
I have meticulously applied this to my practice. When you walk into The Chiro Guy on Rodeo Drive or Winer Chiropractic in Canoga Park, you aren't just a patient on a chart—you have entered my home. You are family.
This cultural foundation is why I refuse to double-book or rush through a session. It’s why I spend an hour with you rather than five minutes. If my own family member were in pain, I wouldn't just 'mask' their symptoms or keep them waiting in a lobby; I would do everything in my power to find the root cause and heal them correctly. My heritage taught me that care is not a transaction—it is an act of hospitality."

What is something you understand deeply about health that most people tend to overlook?

"I understand that your health is not just one 'part' of your life—it is the foundation for everything else. You only get one body, and yet people often take better care of their cars or their businesses than they do of themselves.
What I see deeply is that pain rarely comes from one massive event; it’s the compound effect of the 'small things' we do every day. How you sit, how you move, the repetitive micro-stresses we ignore—those add up over time until the body finally breaks.
I also understand that physical pain is never just physical. It bleeds into your mental clarity, your emotional resilience, and your relationships. If you are a high-performer who is all about your work, you have to realize that self-care is a business strategy. If you don't feel well physically, you cannot think clearly or work effectively. When you neglect your body, you aren't just risking a backache; you are compromising your entire quality of life, both personal and professional. My job is to protect that foundation."
